The shortest way to sleep in the Sahara from Marrakech. Cross the High Atlas over the Tizi n'Tichka pass, visit the UNESCO kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou and follow the palm groves of the Draa Valley to the dunes of Zagora, where your camels wait for the sunset.
Morning pick-up at your hotel and drive across the High Atlas over the Tizi n'Tichka pass, with stops at Berber villages and viewpoints. Visit the ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, continue past Ouarzazate and down the Draa Valley, an oasis of palm trees and old kasbahs. In the late afternoon you ride a camel into the dunes to your camp for dinner, music around the fire and a night under the stars.
Wake up early for the sunrise over the dunes, breakfast at the camp and camel ride back. Drive back to Marrakech through Agdz and Ouarzazate, with time for lunch and photo stops on the way. Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
